Hello Everyone

Just wanted to let you guys know that Melissa and I went to Firebaugh and the staff was really nice to us. They offered us the conference room at the office and we were able to have lunch there with our mentees. We were very please that most of our girls showed and they brought there transcripts and permission release papers.. Way to go Firebaugh..We also assigned leaders of the month and so far they are doing great. We also asked our girls to do a one page letter to us and the staff letting us know how the program has helped them.. I will upload some pictures soon.... CHASEE DATES ARE

Araceli and I went to visit our students in Mendota and have discussed more in depth our future parent meeting. During our parent meeting we plan to fundraise by selling food and drinks. Other than that we are going to find other ways to fundraise in order to have a budget for the student club Mendota High. Once we estabkish our club more we plan to have a president, secretary, treasurer, etc. I will keep informing everyone of our advancements as time comes.

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen. Happy 2009. This will be the year of reflection and Introspection. Last year we were all previleged to learn so much about students, families, peers and most importantly ourselves. As we move forth in our journey alongside one another, it is imperative that we always reflect and ask how would XYZ handle a situation? Or we can always just make a visit, make a phone call, send a text, send an email and/or post a blog.

I would like to request an email of your registered classes. I do keep in mind that some of your classes may change but I would like to get an idea as to where you all stand.
