Parlier's Mini-Conference

Como pueden ver en la mini-conferencia de Parlier Adrian y yo tuvimos una mesa de informacion ahhh y los muchachos y Maria Aguilar hicieron el poster ke tenemos en la mesa con fotografias de las diferentes actividades que hemos hecho, como de los viajes a otras universidades y del servicio comunitario.

Ramirez Family

In this picture we see the Ramirez Family. Tamara Carter referred this family to me, I went to visit them por muy poco tiempo porque el programa se termino pero me di cuenta de ke esta familia se beneficiaria enormemente del programa de mentoria y de hecho a la mama le gusto mucho la idea de estar en este programa.

I know we are in vacation but I want to share with all of you this picture of Cristian a student from Sanger. Cristian esta en el 5to grado y lo estuve llendo a visitarlo varias veces. Cristian me fue referido por Yolanda Mata y me senti muy contenta de haber convivido con Cristian y su familia.

En esta foto Cristian y yo nos fuimos a comer al Jack the last day that I visited him. ahhh I also bought cheeseburguers for his four siblings... they were happy =)

want to share some pictures of our last day in Reedley High School. wow it was awesome working with Reedley. I learned a lot from my students and I am sure they also did learned a lot from me. I want to say thanks to all my students because they were always at our meetings participating and giving the best of themselves. I also want to say thanks to Doris Rosales Josefina and Silvia, thanks with out you the success of the mentoring program at Reedley wouldn't be possible.

Friday was The last day we visited our students and they were really happy to have us the past three months they all wished we'd stay longer. We reviewed what they learned through our visits and I was excited on how much they said. Many said calculating their GPA, requirments for college A-G, teamwork, sense of belonging and confidence!! This wa a great experienced and thank you to all migrant staff on campus and at the office you made it an amazing experience.
