I just wanted to say that the Raisin Pisa was great!! The kids did an amazing job with the video and they also had Olympic Silver Medalist in Water Polo Rick Merlo. He was great, it was very nice meeting him. Once again Congratulations Raisin City Elementary!!

I went to Sequoia Middle School today to meet with one
of my student Cha Lee Xiong. We talked about the health clinic and
also we talk about the the high school and middle school gathering.
It is really great to get to know the migrant teacher because they are
alot of help and they are able to supply you more with information.

Last Friday Janeth and I went to the Empowerment Conference in Parlier. It was a great experience. Attending the workshops me recordo mis años de high school. lol

Kerman Parent Mini Conference!!

On Saturday MElissa and I attended the Kerman Parent Mini Conference and volunteered with the children that attended the conference. We had lots of fun helping with the kids!!

Parlier Visit

Hello Everyone,

Today Janeth and I went to visit our mentees from Parlier. I was very excited to see three new faces. Gerardo, Veronica and Blanca would like to be part of our team. Now we have add 4 students to the mentoring program. German Ventura is the other student who has been attending our meeting since the last weeks.

One of the topics we discussed today was budgeting. We would like to take our students somewhere to have tons of fun with them. We don't know yet what type of fundraising we are gonna do because the school has to approve them first.

Parlier Mini Conference

Hello Team,

I just wanna say that our Migrant Mini Conference at Parlier was a success.  It was a great experience that we will never forget. Something I really liked about this conference was how our mentees  (middle school too) were involved. They were taking care of kids or just helping out to guide the parents. 

I haven't post any pictures cuz um still in old school with dial up... lol... how sad but it seems that um in my rancho.... Ps nimodo thats the only one i can get here,.. well i will post some from school...

Thank you for letting me know about the items Maria Lemus gave you. I was gonna ask for them when i turned in my timesheet but she was not there. Make sure to call Amy (middle school sudent) and invite her to the conference. When Mariat Aguilar went to Wonder Valley she met them. She did not know them because Lucy is the one who is in encharge of middle school students. She told me that she might get a t-shirt for them too. I have your in my car.
