Today at Reedley

Today I visited my students at Reedley. We are going to have una comida this saturday at Reedley's river so if any of you is interesed in going please just let me know.I am planning to do some of the same activities that we do at our leadership camps. esto es porque muchos de mis estudiantes se quedaron con ganas de ir a los campamentos. mmmmm si algunos mentores pudieran ir y hacer una presentacion estaria super. Entiendo que es muy pronto pero no tiene que ser algo muy elaborado o si nadamas quieren ir a contar sus experiencias como estudiantes de la universidad y a pasar un buen rato tambien estaria bien.


Ahh German si pudieras ir te lo agradeceria porque si que voy a necesitar ayuda.

Thaks German for posting some pictures from Dysney, ahhhhh and yourwelcome this trip to Dysney was one of our dreams when we started the Mentoring Program entonces tenias que estar ahi porque tenias que estar ahi jajajajaj.
Pues el viaje a Dysney estuvo padrisimo todos nos divertimos muchisimo lo unico malo fue que el desfile de en la noche se cancelo por los fuertes vientos pero aun asi nos la pasamos super.
Quiero agradecer a Maria Aguilar the migrant liaison de Parlier por toda su ayuda sin ella este viaje no hubiera sido posible. Thanks Maria.

Hello all I hope all is well. I hope you"all had a great holiday. As we begin to wind down a very productive and fulfilling year it is time to reflect on our journeys. We (team) have achieved so much. Some of the success can be quantified: The number of college applications completed, scholarships, statements of purpose, financial aid applications, GPA points, CSU Mentor accounts, E-mail accounts created, AB 540 applications, CAMP application submissions, parent phone calls, mini conferences, community service hours, A-G course enrollments, 1 trip to Dysneyland...(please fill add to the list).... WOW...
Unfortunately some of may not be quantifiable. We can just expect that our students are now on a different and more productive path... I cannot begin to imagine how many lives you have touched, and I cannot begin to predict how many lives they will affect in turn, but I know that this year... we have worked hard... very hard... and all I can say is THANK YOU! The best way to show my gratitude is to ask you for more... to not give up and keep giving more...

el questionario del programa para ver cuales son las necesidades que los muchachos tienen para asi poder servirles mejor.
