Last night when I showed our Green Meadows leadership show at the Kerman PAC, one of the high school students who had attended that camp last year was so full of emotion that she broke down in tears when she addressed the parents - not only for what she had learned at the camp and how it had influenced her, but also in sharing how hard it was for her to live in this society. Seeing these incredible photos with the wonderful music and words juxtaposed helped her relive that experience and relate it to her life.
The mentor assigned to Kerman who had also been a CAMP counselor at the Green Meadows camp was elated when she saw her experience on the screen. It helped her to gain even greater insight as to the value of what she is doing with her life.
