Hello Everyone! I am excited to start a new year and be part of an important role in someones life! I have been learning a lot through out these couple of weeks. I have gained a deeper understanding o f how important a mentor can be to a student. Also, I’ve learned the meaning of resiliency. Lastly I also have learned different ways in which we can apply a resiliency lesson to a student. Three things that I hope to accomplish by Christmas 2010 while on the job are as followed: How to expose students to gain resiliency, assist the teacher in ELD programs and develop effective lessons plans that will enhance the student’s resiliency. I am looking forward a great year with Migrant Education!
