These past weeks we prepared for the academic and resiliency components of the ELD Intervention Program. Our team is ready to start; we already practiced the academic lessons and developed some lessons for the resiliency component. We have parent meeting next week and hopefully we can start making some phone calls or home visits. Besides the academic preparation and resiliency group work, I learned a lot from my new friends (Mentors and Rebecca...Go team!!!!!).
I want to acknowledge that Rebecca is a great teacher; she is organized and patient with her mentors and she has high expectations from us. She always has things for us to do, and we do not have time to stay behind, that’s a NO NO in our team.
We all have very good communication, we expect to make an impact in our students, and guide them in the right direction.
